If you’re looking for a healthier whipped cream option to top your pies with then I gotcha! You will never buy store bought whipped cream again after seeing how easy it is to make your own.
Homemade Organic Whipped Cream
Course: DessertSo much better than store bought whipped cream!
Ingredients
2 cups Organic Heavy Whipping Cream
1 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
3-4 tbsp Pure Organic Maple Syrup (depending on your sweetness preference)
Directions
- Chill a metal bowl in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
- Take your bowl out of the freezer and pour heavy whipping cream, vanilla and maple syrup into your bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients with your electric mixer on high until firm peaks form, approximately 3-5 minutes.
- Put on the top of your favorite pies, sundaes, pancakes, waffles, etc. Enjoy!
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. After a couple days your whipped cream may become a little liquid-y, if that’s the case just re-mix with your electric mixer.
